Karima Mohammed Al Abbasi, Secretary-General of the Shura Council, led a comprehensive coordination meeting with department heads, managers, and officials from the Council’s General Secretariat.

The meeting focused on reviewing upcoming development initiatives and proposals set to be implemented during the fourth session of the sixth legislative term. These efforts aim to ensure early preparation, effective planning, and rapid responsiveness to evolving legislative needs, aligning with Bahrain’s national direction toward innovation and digital transformation under the vision of His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa.

At the start of the meeting, Al Abbasi emphasized that the General Secretariat’s commitment to legal, administrative, technical, and logistical development stems from the guidance of Shura Council Chairman Ali bin Saleh Al Saleh. She highlighted that current projects prioritize innovation in institutional performance, expanding digital transformation, embracing artificial intelligence and modern technologies, and upgrading technical infrastructure to support sustainable development and meet growing legislative demands.

She further stressed the importance of clearly defining roles and responsibilities to ensure initiatives are implemented according to schedule, with high standards of quality and professionalism. Al Abbasi noted that true institutional excellence depends on teamwork, ongoing innovation, and building the capacity of administrative and technical staff.
