National Day celebrations evoke great patriotism

The Supreme Council for Environment (SCE) has celebrated Bahrain’s National and Accession Days in the presence of Chief Executive Dr Mohammed Mubarak bin Dainah, directors and staff.

Dr Mohammed Mubarak extended his heartfelt congratulations to the leadership and people, wishing Bahrain more progress and prosperity.

The council’s staff expressed their happiness about marking the National and Accession Days, stressing their role in fostering patriotism and wishing the leadership, the government and the people happy returns of the occasion.

Bahrain Parents Care Home celebrates

Bahrain Parents Care Home has celebrated the National Day and Accession Day under the patronage of Honorary President Shaikh Khalifa bin Ali bin Khalifa Al Khalifa, in the presence of Muharraq Governor Salman bin Isa bin Hindi and a number of prominent figures. 

Shaikh Khalifa bin Ali extended his sincere congratulations to His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa,  Prime Minister HRH Prince Khalifa bin Salman Al Khalifa and Crown Prince, Deputy Supreme Commander and First Deputy Prime Minister HRH Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa.  He pointed out Bahrain’s achievements that targeted all fields, thanks to the Premier’s acute vision, wishing Bahrain to have many happy returns. 

On the sidelines of the celebration ceremony, Shaikh Khalifa bin Ali opened a productive families market organised by Bahrain Parents Care Home. 

The ceremony included a wide variety of activities, including a walk marathon, educational competitions, art contests for children and many more.  At the end of the ceremony, he awarded the walk marathon and art contest winners and presented the attendees with commemorative gifts. 

Jid Hafs Community Centre celebrates 

Emanating from the Labour and Social Development Ministry’s keenness on participating in the celebrations of the Kingdom’s National Day and HM the King’s Accession Anniversary, the ministry-affiliated Jid Hafs Community Centre has organised a free sketching and painting gallery themed “In Love of the
Nation”.

The event was aimed at drawing expressive drawings and paintings that express the painters love of the nation and belonging to it. The event drew the participation of students from Hamad Town School, Saar Secondary School and Al Shurooq Secondary School, under the supervision of artist Sayid Murtadha Al Sakin. 

The event included explanation of basic colours and how to blend them. The participants drew expressive paintings which have been assessed by the supervisor and the first position winner was chosen.

Shakhoora Youth Centre celebrates 

The Chairman of the board of directors and members of Shakhoorah Youth Centre congratulated HM King Hamad, HRH Prime Minister, HRH Prince Salman on His Majesty the King’s 16th Accession Anniversary and the Kingdom’s 44th National
Day.

The Centre organised a festival marking these national occasions on its playgrounds, which attracted large numbers of spectators. 

The event included various activities, contests and sports.  The winners were then honoured.
