HM King hails SCIA for efforts in promoting Islamic values

His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa commended the Supreme Council for Islamic Affairs (SCIA) for its role in promoting Islam’s values of moderation, tolerance, and compassion.

He highlighted its efforts in fostering interfaith and intercultural dialogue for peace and cooperation.

HM the King also commended the Endowments Councils for their work in overseeing places of worship, training religious leaders, and promoting messages of unity and national cohesion.

Reception

His Majesty was speaking as he received Shaikh Abdulrahman bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Khalifa, Chairman of the Supreme Council for Islamic Affairs (SCIA); Shaikh Dr. Rashid bin Mohammed bin Futtais Al Hajeri, Chairman of the Sunni Endowments Council; and Yusuf bin Saleh Al Saleh, Chairman of the Jaafari Endowments Council, at Sakhir Palace.

The meeting was attended by His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, the Crown Prince and Prime Minister.

They extended greetings to HM King Hamad on the occasion of the holy month of Ramadhan, wishing prosperity for the Kingdom of Bahrain under his leadership.

His Majesty welcomed them and exchanged Ramadhan greetings, wishing for blessings upon the Kingdom and prosperity across the Arab and Islamic nations.
