Sunni Endowments Directorate Designates 32 Mosques as Jamea for Ramadan Friday Prayers

The Sunni Endowments Directorate has announced the temporary designation of 32 mosques as jamea mosques for the holy month of Ramadan. These mosques will host Friday prayers starting from the first Friday of the month to accommodate the increased number of worshippers during this sacred period.

Dr. Shaikh Rashid bin Mohammed bin Futais Al Hajri, Chairman of the Sunni Endowments Council, underscored the council’s dedication to ensuring the spiritual needs of the faithful are met. He expressed deep gratitude to His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa and His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, the Crown Prince and Prime Minister, for their unwavering support of religious institutions and community initiatives.

The designated mosques are spread across Bahrain’s four governorates, ensuring accessibility for worshippers in various regions.
