Ariane 5 rocket blasts off in first post-lockdown launch

An Ariane 5 rocket lifted off on Saturday in the first launch from Kourou spaceport in French Guiana since the facility closed in March due to the coronavirus pandemic. European space company Arianespace aborted a previous launch on July 31, minutes before the scheduled lift-off, due to an issue with a sensor in a hydrogen tank.
