Moscow: Ukraine launched one of its most massive aerial drone attacks on the Moscow region, with more than 400 drones sent toward the Russian capital, according to Moscow Mayor Sergei Sobyanin. As reported by officials, Russian air defence systems destroyed the majority of the drones before they reached the city.

According to Russian authorities, the bombardment resulted in temporary flight restrictions at numerous Moscow airports and an emergency response in certain areas. While officials reported most drones were destroyed on the city's outskirts, authorities assessed damage in places where debris had fallen.

The incident occurred amid an increasing exchange of long-range attacks between Russia and Ukraine, with Kyiv increasingly targeting military and energy facilities deep inside Russian territory while Moscow maintains large-scale missile and drone attacks on Ukrainian cities.
