Oman Sultan, Qatari PM Discuss Regional Diplomacy

His Majesty Sultan Haitham bin Tarik of Oman received Sheikh Mohammed bin Abdulrahman bin Jassim Al Thani, Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs of Qatar, for talks on regional developments and ongoing diplomatic efforts.
During the meeting, the two sides reviewed the progress of US-Iran negotiations and discussed the latest initiatives aimed at ending the conflict and achieving a comprehensive and lasting resolution to the crisis, according to the Oman News Agency.
His Majesty Sultan Haitham stressed the importance of advancing diplomatic efforts to promote peace and stability across the region. He also highlighted the need for greater coordination and alignment among the constructive initiatives being undertaken by friendly countries to support regional security and de-escalation.
The discussions reflected the continued commitment of both Oman and Qatar to dialogue and peaceful solutions to regional challenges.
