Emirates Restores 96% of Global Network, Reaffirming Dubai’s Role as Aviation Hub

Emirates has announced a near-complete recovery of its global operations, with 96% of its network now restored following a period of disruption.

The airline has steadily resumed services across key regions including the Americas, Europe, Africa, West Asia, the Middle East, the Far East, and Australasia. It now operates flights to 137 destinations in 72 countries, offering more than 1,300 weekly services—equivalent to around 75% of its pre-disruption capacity.

The recovery highlights the continued importance of Dubai as a major global aviation hub, with Emirates expanding flight options and seat availability to meet rising travel demand.

Despite operating on a reduced schedule during the disruption, the airline carried approximately 4.7 million passengers, reflecting sustained confidence among travellers.

Emirates said customers can expect its signature onboard and ground services across all routes. This includes multi-course dining options inspired by regional cuisines and access to its inflight entertainment system, which features more than 6,500 channels in multiple languages. High-speed onboard connectivity is also being expanded, with Starlink internet now available on a growing number of aircraft.

To enhance the travel experience, Emirates has introduced additional flexibility for bookings made from April 2, allowing passengers to change travel dates once without additional fees. Travellers can also take advantage of the airline’s Dubai Connect programme, which offers complimentary hotel stays, transfers, and meals for passengers with extended layovers in Dubai.

Meanwhile, members of the airline’s loyalty programme, Emirates Skywards, can benefit from promotional offers running through the summer, including accelerated access to higher membership tiers.

The airline’s latest update signals a strong rebound in global travel demand, as Emirates continues to rebuild its network and strengthen connectivity through Dubai.
