U.S. Vice President JD Vance stated that the military conflict in Iran is nearing its end because most of the American objectives have been met. Vance emphasized that the U.S. has no intention of maintaining a long-term presence in the country. He assured the public that forces will begin to withdraw soon.

According to Vance, the primary goal of the operation was to neutralize Iran’s nuclear program and weaken its conventional military. He noted that while President Trump wants to continue operations briefly to ensure a lasting impact, the overall mission is transitionary. Vance claimed that the ‘conventional military is effectively destroyed,’ providing the U.S. with several diplomatic and military options moving forward.

The Vice President also addressed the economic impact of the war, promising that gas prices would drop once the conflict concludes. He reiterated the administration's stance that the ‘mistakes of the past’ referring to endless Middle Eastern wars would not be repeated.

Despite initial reports of internal skepticism regarding the strikes, Vance expressed full confidence in the current strategy and the leadership of the President.

This push for an exit comes amid a month of intense military activity, including the reported death of Iran's Supreme Leader. Vance noted that while the regime's future remains uncertain, the specific threat of an Iranian nuclear weapon has been ‘substantially delayed.’ The administration now shifts its focus toward a swift withdrawal and stabilizing global energy markets.
