U.S. President Donald Trump has signed an executive order imposing new reciprocal tariffs ranging from 10% to 41% on imports from 69 countries and territories. The move comes shortly after he extended the deadline for finalizing a tariff agreement with Mexico by 90 days.

The tariffs, which will take effect seven days from the signing, are part of the administration’s push to address what it calls “imbalanced trade practices.” Countries facing the new duties span multiple regions, including Asia, Africa, Europe, the Middle East, and the Americas.

The executive order outlines that European Union imports with current duty rates below 15% will now face a 15% tariff, while goods with rates above 15% will remain exempt.
