Mecca's Grand Mosque: 3,500 Workers Clean in 35 Minutes for Pilgrim Comfort

The Grand Mosque in Mecca undergoes a swift and thorough cleaning operation in just 35 minutes, ensuring that pilgrims can perform their rituals in a clean and comfortable environment.
The General Authority for the Care of the Grand Mosque and the Prophet’s Mosque reports that a dedicated team of 3,500 male and female workers operates around the clock to uphold cleanliness at this sacred site.
Supporting their efforts are 12 specialized washing machines and 679 advanced cleaning devices. Additionally, over 3,000 waste containers are strategically placed throughout the mosque to manage waste efficiently.
