Unsettled weather, sandstorm warning in Saudi

A sandstorm accompanied by thundery rain is hitting parts of Saudi Arabia, disrupting traffic due to low visibility. The Presidency of Meteorology and Environment said that unsettled weather would affect the highway linking Al-Madinah and Makkah and urged caution. According to Sabq, the meteorology authorities said that the unsettled weather and sandstorms would also affect open areas in Saudi Arabia and last till midnight before abating gradually.
