soundcore launches AI-powered Liberty 5 Pro series across GCC with record-breaking call quality

soundcore, the premium audio brand under Anker Innovations, has launched its latest Liberty 5 Pro and Liberty 5 Pro Max earbuds across the GCC, introducing advanced artificial intelligence features designed for the region’s fast-paced and multilingual lifestyle.

The new earbuds are the first soundcore products powered by ANKER’s THUS™ AI Chip, a custom-built processor that manages artificial intelligence functions directly on the device. The technology enables clearer calls, smarter noise cancellation and faster voice responses without requiring an internet connection.

The Liberty 5 Pro series is designed to handle everyday challenges such as busy roads, crowded cafés, open offices and frequent travel by improving voice clarity and reducing background noise.

Guinness World Record for call quality

The Liberty 5 Pro features a 10-sensor calling system with eight microphones and two bone conduction sensors that detect voice vibrations. The system works with the THUS™ AI Chip to separate the user’s voice from surrounding noise in real time.

The technology has earned the Liberty 5 Pro a Guinness World Record for achieving the highest speech quality score among true wireless stereo (TWS) earbuds.

The Liberty 5 Pro Max uses the same earbud hardware and delivers the same call performance, while adding extra smart features through its charging case.

AI-powered recording and meeting assistant

The Liberty 5 Pro Max introduces an AI Note-Taker feature, allowing users to record conversations directly from the charging case without using a phone or separate app.

A double tap on the case activates recording, while its 1.78-inch AMOLED screen confirms the process. After recording, the Soundcore app can generate transcripts, identify speakers and highlight key action points.

The standard Liberty 5 Pro includes a 0.96-inch TFT touchscreen for controlling music, noise cancellation settings and calls.

Real-time translation for a multilingual region

Both models support AI translation features, designed for environments where multiple languages are commonly used in daily conversations.

Users can access translations through the earbuds, while the Liberty 5 Pro Max also allows translation through the case display.

The feature is aimed at helping users understand conversations while travelling, navigating new places or communicating across different languages.
