Xiaomi Auto has unveiled the new SkyNomad family of large, intelligent and reconfigurable SUVs, introducing four models aimed at combining long-distance capability with flexible interior space and advanced technology.

The range comprises the five-seat SkyNomad N70, five-seat all-wheel-drive N70 Max, seven-seat N90 Max and the N90 Max Studio, which transforms the SUV into a mobile living and working space. Official prices listed the launch material start at RMB 209,900 and rise to RMB 299,900 for the N90 Max Studio.

The N70 models are built on Xiaomi's Xunlun Platform and measure 4,960mm long, 1,998mm wide, with a 2,950mm wheelbase. Xiaomi says the flat-floor layout and extra-long seat rails provide up to 1,410mm of second-row legroom. Boot capacity ranges from 1,203 litres to 2,425 litres with the rear seats folded.

The N70 Pro uses a 52kWh battery and offers a claimed CLTC electric range of 351km and combined range of up to 1,351km.

The N70 Max gets a 76kWh battery, dual-motor all-wheel drive and claimed electric and combined ranges of 505km and 1,461km respectively.

The larger N90 Max measures 5,285mm and has a 3,080mm wheelbase. Its seven-seat 2+2+3 layout is designed for both family and business use, with zero-gravity seating and a claimed combined range of up to 1,705km.

The most unusual model is the N90 Max Studio. Its factory-integrated electric lifting roof creates a two-level interior, while the second-row seats can convert into a bed in about 30 seconds. It also features floor heating, a 30-inch projection system and additional storage and workspace features. Across the range, Xiaomi highlights AI-powered controls, advanced driver-assistance hardware, LiDAR, large displays and extensive safety systems as key features of its new SUV family.
