Cocktail 2 Trailer Promises Romance, Friendship and Summer Drama

The makers of Cocktail 2 have unveiled the film’s official trailer, offering audiences a glimpse into a vibrant story of friendship, love, heartbreak and self-discovery set against a picturesque summer backdrop.

Produced by Maddock Films, the highly anticipated romantic drama stars Shahid Kapoor, Kriti Sanon, and Rashmika Mandanna in lead roles. The trailer showcases a mix of humour, romance, emotional conflicts and high-energy moments while hinting at the complexities of modern relationships.

The film explores themes of friendship, attraction and personal growth through the lives of its central characters, blending glamour and entertainment with emotional depth. Adding to the excitement is a soundtrack composed by Pritam, which has already generated significant buzz among fans.

Speaking about the film, Shahid Kapoor described Cocktail 2 as a celebration of summer, packed with emotion, humour and romance. Kriti Sanon highlighted the film’s modern and relatable portrayal of relationships, while Rashmika Mandanna said the story captures the joys and challenges of navigating love and friendship.

Producer Dinesh Vijan said the film reflects a growing desire among audiences for authentic connections and meaningful relationships. He also praised writer and producer Luv Ranjan for crafting a contemporary romantic comedy that resonates with today’s generation.

Directed by Homi Adajania, the film is written by Luv Ranjan and Tarun Jain. Adajania described the story as a fun, emotional and unpredictable journey about people trying to make sense of their hearts and relationships.

A collaboration between Maddock Films and Luv Films, Cocktail 2 is produced by Dinesh Vijan, Luv Ranjan and Ankur Garg. The film is set for an international theatrical release on June 19 through Marudhar Entertainment and FunAsia Films.
