Bentley Unveils New Flying Spur with Hybrid Power and Fresh Design

Luxury carmaker Bentley Motors has revealed the latest generation of its flagship Bentley Flying Spur, introducing a refreshed design, advanced hybrid powertrains and the return of the performance-focused S model.

The new Flying Spur continues Bentley’s move toward electrified performance, featuring the company’s latest V8 hybrid powertrain technology. The model combines handcrafted luxury with enhanced performance, maintaining its position as one of the most powerful luxury sedans on the market.

Among the most noticeable changes is a redesigned exterior that adopts cleaner and more modern styling. For the first time since 1962, the Flying Spur features single front headlamps, aligning its design language with the latest Continental GT family. The updated sedan also receives a redesigned grille, smoother body surfaces, revised rear lighting, a new boot lid design and updated 22-inch wheel options.

Bentley confirmed that production of the new Flying Spur will begin at its manufacturing facility in Crewe in September.

The launch also marks the return of the Flying Spur S, a sportier variant aimed at customers seeking enhanced driving dynamics. Equipped with Bentley’s High-Performance Hybrid powertrain and Performance Active Chassis system, the new Flying Spur S delivers 680 horsepower and 930 Nm of torque, making it the most powerful S-badged Flying Spur ever produced.

Inside, Bentley has expanded personalization options with five seat designs available across the range. Each seat requires around 12 hours of handcraftsmanship and can be specified with fluted or quilted finishes, reflecting the brand’s continued focus on luxury craftsmanship and comfort.

The latest Flying Spur forms part of Bentley’s broader strategy to combine sustainability, electrification and performance while preserving the exclusivity and craftsmanship that define the brand.
