Sunbirds, Bhayangkara players take three individual awards each

Players from Japan’s Suntory Sunbirds and Indonesia’s Jakarta Bhayangkara Presisi took three individual awards apiece in the 2023 Asian Men’s Club Volleyball Championship.
Sunbirds star Dmitriy Muserskiy was named the competition’s Most Valuable Player after helping lead the Japanese to their first-ever title in the competition.
He was also their leading scorer in last night’s final.
Teammate Makasi Oya was named the Best Setter, while Cuban Alain Junior de Armas of the Sunbirds was one of two Best Outside Hitters.
Bhayangkara’s Fahreza Rakha Abhinaya was named the Best Libero, while Hendra Kurniawan were one of two Best Middle Blockers, and Mohammadjavad Manavinezhad was the second Best Outside Hitter.
Police’s Belal Nabel Abunabot was the other Best Middle Blocker, while Amir Ghafour of Shahdab was the Best Opposite Spiker.
