Royal Rumble Charity Boxing to strengthen bilateral relations between Bahrain and UK

Sports are and have been for a long time now a powerful diplomatic tool, promoting cultural exchange and universal values, thus strengthening bilateral relations between nations worldwide.

On February 4th, boxing will be in the spotlight in the Kingdom of Bahrain with the first edition of “Royal Rumble”.

The Charity Boxing Dinner will be held under the patronage of His Highness Shaikh Khalid bin Hamad Al Khalifa, First Deputy President of the Supreme Council for Youth and Sports, President of the General Sports Authority, and President of the Bahrain Olympic Committee.

The boxing charity gala event is organized by KHK Boxing and is sanctioned by the Bahrain Boxing Federation.

The fight night will be held at the Bahrain Rugby Football Club on February 4, 2022.

The Royal Rumble Charity Boxing Dinner powered by Gulf Air will see boxing bouts between the Bahrain Royal Guard and the Royal Regiment of Fusiliers of the United Kingdom.

The Kingdom of Bahrain and the United Kingdom have a long history of cooperation in multiple areas and this next chapter with the Royal Rumble shows that the ties extend even further.
