Defence Minister honours winners of BDF championship

Bahrain’s Defence Minister Lt. Gen. Abdullah bin Hassan Al Nuaimi honoured winners of the Defence Minister’s Bowling, Billiards and Snooker Championship at a closing ceremony held yesterday in Manama.
The event, staged at the Bahrain Defence Force Officers’ Club, opened with a welcome address before the minister presented trophies to top performers across the three disciplines.
In the bowling competition, Col. Mohammed Abdullah AlManaei secured first place and the highest average score award. Lt. Col. Yusuf Atiyallah AlSaud finished second and also claimed the highest three-game series, while Maj. Ali Abdullah Al-Manaei placed third and Maj. Salman Rashid Al-Manaei came fourth.
In billiards, 1st Lt. Ibrahim Suhail Al-Khalfan took first place, followed by 1st Lt. Mohammed Jassim Al-Maliki in second and Maj. Hamad Najeeb Al-Kuwari in third.
Al-Khalfan also won the snooker competition, with Maj. Hamad Najeeb Al-Kuwari finishing second and Col. Hamad Mohammed Boursheed taking third place.
The minister also honoured organising committees and contributors, congratulating participants on their performance and praising the overall standard of organisation. Senior Bahrain Defence Force officers attended the ceremony.
