Quality Education School celebrates Sports Day
Quality Education School (QES) held its Annual Sports meet 2017-18 on Thursday at the Zamil Campus.
The sports meet was declared open formally by Bhagawan Asarpota, Director, QES by hoisting the Bahrain Flag. This was followed by the Inter-House March Past, a highly competitive event where the four houses eyed for the first place.
The students entered into the spirit of the occasion in a grand way with the oath being administered by the School Student’s President Master Thomas Norbert Engel, to participate in the sports day with true sportsman spirit. Principal, Dr Ravi Warrier welcomed the guests and the gathering formally.
Students showcased their unity, understanding and will-power in the various display drills like Hula Hoop display, Military drill etc... The spectators were particularly enthused by the gymnastic performance and praised the efforts profusely.
The Director, Principal, Vice Principal & Parent representatives presented the winners of various events with medals and certificates.
Apart from commemorating victories, sports meet also aims at imparting lessons on sportsman spirit and camaraderie to children.
