Bahraini Woman back in court with noisy bird case
The case of a noisy cock has come up before a court again despite a settlement reached earlier between the parties involved.
The case was earlier lodged by a Bahraini woman, who accused her neighbour’s bird of being a nuisance. But, she eventually decided to drop the case after a handshake was reached outside the courtroom with the neighbour, promising that she would find a solution to the cock’s noise. However, the woman dragged the issue to the court again after the bird continued to trouble her.
The woman had earlier claimed that the pet’s noise was too troublesome that she faced difficulties in her studies for master’s degree as well as sleep.
She alleged that she tried to solve the issue with her neighbour outside the court, but her attempts went in vain. Before filing the lawsuit in the court, she had filed a complaint at the police station on February 14, accusing her neighbour of nuisance.
However, she moved her case to the Court Urgent Matters in a bid to get a quick solution. The first hearing is scheduled for November 16.
