New level of Bahrain, US ties
Prime Minister HRH Prince Khalifa bin Salman Al Khalifa praised the advanced level of the Bahraini-US relations, and highlighted the strength of the steadily progressing cooperation between them.
Receiving the US Ambassador to Bahrain William Roebuck, HRH the Prime Minister asserted that Bahrain was making confident strides to achieve more economic and development progress while maintaining its security and stability.
Prince Khalifa reiterated the Kingdom’s constant keenness on strengthening its strategic relations with countries with which it shares similar policies towards stability and development, including the US. HRH Premier reviewed with the ambassador ways to bolster cooperation between the two countries in various fields. HRH the Prime Minister also discussed with him the latest
regional and international developments, affirming that maintaining the “security of the region is a collective responsibility, and that any undermining of stability will not serve the overlapped international interests, nor will it support the International Community’s development efforts; security is integral.”
William Roebuck appre- ciated HRH Premier for his keenness to enhance bilateral cooperation in all fields.
