HM King support for Yemen hailed

His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa’s efforts to support legitimacy in Yemen have been praised by Yemeni Shura Council Chairman Dr Ahmed Obaid bin Daghr.

This came during an official discussion session held between Arab Parliament Speaker Adel bin Abdulrahman Al Asoumi and Dr Daghr who lauded Bahrain’s unwavering stance in defending legitimacy in Yemen in regional and international gatherings and providing humanitarian aid to the Yemeni people.

Bahrain was one of the first countries which joined the coalition to support legitimacy in Yemen, end the coup of the terrorist Houthi militias, and recover the institutions of the legitimate state.

Dr Daghr commended the unlimited support provided by Bahrain to Yemen, under the leadership of HM King Hamad and His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, the Crown Prince and Prime Minister.

He praised the dedicated efforts of Bahrain Defence Force (BDF) and its participation in the Arab Coalition to Support Legitimacy in Yemen.

Dr Daghr also lauded the efforts of Representative of His Majesty the King for Humanitarian Work and Youth Affairs, His Highness Shaikh Nasser bin Hamad Al Khalifa, the Board of Trustees Chairman of the Royal Humanitarian Foundation, to help the Yemeni people and implement humanitarian and developmental projects in the liberated Yemeni governorates.
