HRH Prince Salman a source of pride for Bahrain

The Supreme Council for Islamic Affairs (SCIA) has extended sincere congratulations to His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, the Crown Prince and Prime Minister, on the occasion of His Royal Highness being awarded the C3 Leadership Award, granted by the 2021 C3 US-Arab Healthcare & Business Summit.

The SCIA said that the award is in recognition of HRH the Crown Prince and Prime Minister’s efforts and achievements in various fields, as well as of HRH’s wise leadership of the national efforts to confront the coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic, which yielded huge successes, making Bahrain a global role model in combating COVID-19 and earning its wide international praise.

It affirmed that the well-deserved international honouring is a source of pride for everyone, noting that it crowns HRH Crown Prince and Prime Minister’s tireless efforts in serving the nation and meeting His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa’s aspirations.

The prestigious award also reflects the international appreciation of the dedicated efforts exerted by Team Bahrain to turn challenges into opportunities to attain accomplishments that enhance the comprehensive development march, led by HM the King, the SCIA also said during its regular meeting, held remotely today, under the chairmanship of its President, Shaikh Abdulrahman bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Khalifa.

The SCIA then discussed the topics on the agenda, including its plan to reconstruct the Ma’ameer and Karzakan mosques, instructing the Secretariat-General to follow up on the implementation of the two projects and others so as to be completed as soon as possible to serve worshippers. The meeting also reviewed a draft law on stem cells, and decided to refer it to the Sharia Opinion Committee to study it and submit its report on it.
