Bahrain park to be renovated soon

The much-awaited renovation of an open yard in complex 1042 is set to begin, with the authorities are also working on the project’s tendering process.
The approval came following a report by the head of the Parks Department in the Northern Region Municipality, Hussein Al Saffar, on the dilapidated condition of the park, based on complaints by residents.
“This is in response to the complaints received during our field visits to the area,” said Zainab Al Darazi, a municipal council member of the Northern Governorate.
The park, Al Darazi said, will receive a facelift to match other modern gardens in the Kingdom. “Engineering and designing works are currently ongoing.
Once that is over, the tendering process will begin,” Zainab Al Darazi said, adding, “the authorities are expecting to begin the development works this year itself.”
