BD23.4 m ‘Future Generation Reserve Tower’ deal signed

Works Ministry announced the signing an agreement for the construction of the Future Generation Reserve Tower in the Gulf of Bahrain. Minister of Works, Municipalities Affairs and Urban Planning Essam bin Abdullah Khalaf signed the BD23.4 million deal awarded to Al Ghanah Group.

Expecting completion in the fourth quarter of 2022, the project with an overall construction area of 63,000m2 and plot area of 12,000m2 includes 38 floors of office accommodation and various service facilities. The project, the first financial investment tower in Bahrain, will be designed to receive the Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design Certification (“LEED”), an internationally recognised green building standard.

The architect of the project is Mohammed Salahuddin Engineering Consulting Bureau, MSCEB, a leading national engineering practice. The project is expected to revitalise the local economy by attracting more local and international investments and create top quality job opportunities for Bahrainis.
