Sustainable energy development discussed

Sustainable Energy Authority (SEA) chairman Dr. Abdulhussain bin Ali Mirza received in his office yesterday MP Mahmoud Al Bahrani. The SEA chief praised the lawmaker’s initiatives and his interest in the issues of citizens and providing them with the best services through his role in the legislative authority, especially in light of the current challenges the country and the whole world are facing in combatting the coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic.
Dr. Mirza discussed the important role of the sustainability of energy resources in supporting Bahrain’s development plans and enabling it to achieve its national, regional, and international goals. He reviewed the most important developments in both the renewable energy sector and the energy efficiency sector and the most prominent investment projects in these two fields.
For his part, Al Bahrani praised the efforts of SEA in making the Kingdom a distinguished center for sustainable energy and stressed the importance of strengthening the partnership between legislative and executive authorities to enhance this.
