Truly Worthy Cause: Fil-Am Bahrain To Host Bingo Night Fundraiser For Child’s Prosthetic Leg

The Filipino-American Association of Bahrain (Fil-Am Bahrain) is cordially inviting everyone to a special fundraising event that promises an evening filled with enjoyment, camaraderie, and the chance to make a meaningful difference in a young life.

Filipino-American officers are actively preparing to host a Bingo Night Fundraiser on Friday, August 15, 2025, from 5:00 PM to 11:00 PM at the Intercontinental Hotel, Manama. The organizers are sincerely encouraging the entire community to lend their support to this noble initiative.

At the core of this initiative is a deeply compassionate objective to provide a young Filipino child in urgent need with a prosthetic leg.

Fil-Am President Orlando Fontanilla passionately expressed the vision behind the fundraiser, stating, “The funds raised from this event will be allocated to assist a young Filipino child in need of a prosthetic leg.”

Transformative impact
He further highlighted the transformative impact this would have, adding, “This initiative aims to give the child the opportunity to attend school, walk, and play with peers.”

In addition to the noble cause, attendees can look forward to an evening filled with excitement. For an entry fee of BD8/- per person, participants will enjoy a delicious meal and receive 30 bingo cards, setting the stage for an exhilarating night.

The event will include a total of 10 thrilling bingo games, culminating in an exciting finale. The last four rounds will be designated as blackout games, providing participants with the opportunity to win substantial prizes.
