As part of the Ministry of Interior’s keenness to invest in the energies of the youth and involve them in activities that enrich their knowledge and instill values of belonging and community service, the Public Security Sports Federation organized the 2025 summer activity for the children of officers, with participation from children aged 6 to 12 years.

On this occasion, Brigadier General Khalid Abdulaziz Al-Khayyat, President of the Public Security Sports Federation, praised the continuous support and interest of Lieutenant General His Excellency Sheikh Rashid bin Abdullah Al Khalifa, Minister of Interior, for the events held by the Federation, and his keenness to provide all necessary forms of support to achieve the desired goals within the framework of protecting the youth and guiding them in ways that benefit society. He also noted the close follow-up by His Excellency Major General Tariq bin Hassan Al Hassan, Head of Public Security, of all the Federation’s events and activities, which contributes to the development of the programs offered by the Federation and the success of the summer activity for the children of officers.

The President of the Public Security Sports Federation pointed out that the summer activity program aims to instill confidence in the participants, develop their skills, and refine their cultural, social, and athletic talents. It also aims to guide participants and habituate them to making beneficial use of their free time for themselves and the community. The program focuses on enhancing citizenship, fostering a spirit of cooperation and interaction with others, and strengthening participants’ role toward society through participation in social programs.
