The Ministry of Education has concluded its Summer Enrichment Program for the 2024–2025 academic year, following four weeks of activities held in 11 summer centers across Bahrain’s governorates.

The initiative drew wide participation from primary and intermediate students and was supervised by a select team of ministry supervisors and educational specialists.

Assistant Undersecretary for Educational Services, Kafa’a Habib Al-Anzour, highlighted that the program offered a rich and comprehensive educational experience designed to bridge theoretical learning with practical application in an engaging, enjoyable environment.

She noted the strong turnout this year, describing it as a boost to the Ministry’s mission of preparing a more efficient, creative generation. Parents expressed appreciation for the Ministry’s efforts, commending the variety and quality of activities and noting the program’s positive role in enhancing their children’s skills and making productive use of their summer vacation.

The program featured a diverse range of workshops, interactive sessions, and competitions covering art and design, science, culture, theater, sports, and scouting and guiding activities.

Each was tailored to foster students’ personal and social skills, creativity, cooperation, and sense of belonging.

Closing ceremonies were held at all participating centers, where students showcased their talents through artistic performances that reflected the skills they had acquired.

The events also saw the distribution of certificates in recognition of the students’ active participation and commitment.
