Back with jubilation

Memebers of BDF's ‘Duty Force-One’ returned to Bahrain from Yemen after the successful completion of their mission assigned to them within the Saudi-led Arab Coalition. 

The Duty Force-One, led by Royal Guard Commander Brigadier-General Shaikh Nasser bin Hamad Al Khalifa and the Royal Guard Special Force Commander Major Shaikh Khalid bin Hamad Al Khalifa, were received by His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa, in the presence of Crown Prince, Deputy Supreme Commander and First Deputy Prime Minister, HRH Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa.

Shaikh Nasser and Shaikh Khalid were at the forefront of the members of the ‘Duty Force-One’ and set the example for officers, non- commissioned officers and soldiers in performing their sacred duties with strong will and determination.

The unit will be replaced by another group from the BDF.

The brave members of the "Duty Force-One" participated in the liberation of Marib and taking control of the Bab Al-Mandab Strait.

HM the King affirmed that the BDF would continue performing its sacred duty alongside brotherly countries in the Operation Decisive Storm and the Operation Restore Hope with the Joint Arab Coalition.

"We thank our brothers in Yemen, Saudi Arabia and the UAE for giving us the opportunity to participate and perform our duty towards the brotherly Yemeni people," King Hamad said.

The BDF personnel who participated in the noble mission pledged their readiness to perform their patriotic duty to the fullest.
