Foreign Minister receives King Hamad Global Centre’s officials
Minister of Foreign Affairs, Dr Abdullatif bin Rashid Al-Zayani, received, here today, the Chairman of the Board of Trustees of the King Hamad Global Centre for Peaceful Co-existence, Dr Shaikh Khalid bin Khalifa Al Khalifa, and the Secretary-General of the Centre, Mrs Sumaya Al-Meer, in the presence of Assistant Foreign Minister, Abdullah bin Faisal bin Jabr Al-Dossari.
Dr Zayani congratulated Mrs Sumaya Al-Meer on the valuable royal trust bestowed upon her, following her appointment as Secretary-General of the King Hamad Global Centre for Peaceful Coexistence, wishing her success in her duties.
The meeting also discussed the efforts of the Centre to promote the culture of coexistence and religious tolerance, as well as ways to enhance cooperation and coordination between the Ministry and the Centre.
