Bahrain's ambassador meets New Zealand officials

Wellington: Ambassador of Bahrain to New Zealand, residing in Indonesia, Dr. Mohammed Ghassan Shaikho, has met with a number of officials, during his visit to present his credentials to Governor-General of New Zealand Dame Patsy Reddy, as Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Kingdom of Bahrain to New Zealand.

The ambassador met the Chief of Protocol at New Zealand Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Trade, Michael Swain, as well as the New Zealand's General Director of the African and Middle-East Division at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Trade, Stuart Horne. He also met Ambassador of the United Arab Emirates to New Zealand, Saleh Alsuwaidi, Ambassador of Saudi Arabia to New Zealand, Abdulrahman Al Suhaibani, and Ambassador of Kuwait to New Zealand, Ahmad Salem Alwehaib.

During his meetings, the Ambassador hailed the friendly relations and cooperation between the Kingdom of Bahrain and New Zealand in various fields, affirming the keenness of the Kingdom of Bahrain to enhance means of cooperation for the common interest of the two countries.
