The World Health Organisation (WHO) will honor His Royal Highness Prime Minister Prince Khalifa bin Salman Al Khalifa as a ‘World Leader’, in a new international achievement reflecting the global impact and resonance of the contributions of His Royal Highness. The Premier was chosen after a careful follow-up on the progress achieved by Bahrain’s health sector, which, according to WHO, “deserves to be a role model for other countries of the world.”

The award honors HRH the Premier’s contributions in the field of health and for his vision, ideas, policies, initiatives, and achievements.
