Young entrepreneurs in Bahrain concluded the 18th edition of the Young Entrepreneurs Competition, with students highlighting the transformative role of the “Company Program 2026” in shaping their innovation and business skills.
Participants said the initiative, delivered under Injaz Bahrain, played a key role in helping them turn creative ideas into practical ventures with measurable economic, social, and environmental benefits.
Speaking to the Bahrain News Agency (BNA) during the closing ceremony, winners described the program as an important learning platform that strengthened their leadership abilities and exposed them to real-world entrepreneurial challenges.
They added that the experience encouraged them to develop solutions targeting issues in sustainability, technology, environmental protection, and community development, while also building confidence to pursue future startup opportunities that could contribute to Bahrain’s growing innovation ecosystem.
In the school category, Rawan Hussein of the “2aman” team said winning the Best Video Award strongly encouraged the team to continue improving their project.
Meanwhile, May Mahmoud, CEO of “Cellupla,” said her team’s Best Global Impact Award recognized their work in developing environmentally sustainable solutions.
