11-year-old author writes for charity deeds

Manama

Caline Hajjar writes with a vision and mission in mind. This 11-year-old girl donates all the proceeds from the sale of her book to the orphans. The book signing ceremony of her book “The Money Mystery” was held at the LuLu Hypermarket in Hidd yesterday in the presence of Dr Mustafa Al Sayed, the Secretary General of the Royal Charity Organisation (RCO).

Overwhelmed by the budding writer’s philanthropic gesture, Dr Mustafa Al Sayed thanked Caline in the presence of her parents at the event.

A student of St Christopher's School, this gifted writer launched her book “The Money Mystery” in June in Words Bookstore Café in Budaiya.

All proceeds from the sale of the book will be donated to the RCO and a school in Cambodia.

The donation for the school in Cambodia is part of an ongoing campaign by St Christopher's School to provide supplies and equipment. Hailing from Lebanon, Caline lives in Bahrain with her parents and sister.
