Bahrain, INTERPOL Discuss Regional Security Challenges
His Excellency Lieutenant General Dr. Shaikh Hamad bin Mohammed Al Khalifa, Deputy Chief of Police, participated in the ninth meeting of police chiefs from the Middle East and North Africa, organised by the International Criminal Police Organization (INTERPOL) and held in the Arab Republic of Egypt.
The meeting discussed a range of issues related to regional crime trends and emerging threats facing the Middle East and North Africa region.
It also reviewed the priorities of regional security partners and explored ways to strengthen coordination and integration among law enforcement agencies across the region.
The meeting further addressed mechanisms for enhancing regional cooperation and operational coordination, supporting joint efforts to combat various forms of crime and address security challenges.
