Bahrain on the threshold of a new milestone: Deputy King

Deputy King, His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa and His Royal Highness Prime Minister Prince Khalifa bin Salman Al Khalifa yesterday wished candidates every success in the upcoming elections saying, “Bahrain is on the threshold of a new milestone in its national march.” This came as the HRH Prince Salman paid a visit to His Royal Highness the Prime Minister at his Palace in Riffa.

The Deputy King and HRH the Prime Minister lauded Bahrain’s unity and cohesion.  “Our strength lies in our unity, and we are proud of our solid cohesion and solidarity -leadership and people. We are all united heart and soul in this beloved country, under the wise leadership of His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa,” their highnesses said. In this regard, the leaders gave directives to all government departments and officials to provide all facilities and take the necessary procedures to streamline the voting process.

HRH Prince Salman and the Premier also highlighted the importance of the forthcoming elections in ensuring the continuity of the nation-building process and the kingdom’s development march, under the leadership of HM the King.  The leaders also affirmed that the modernisation and development march in the kingdom will continue unabated by the solidarity of everyone, adding that the government is determined, based on HM the King’s directives, to always achieve the best for the Bahraini people.

While reviewing the latest regional and global developments, the Deputy King and HRH Premier expressed pride in the kingdom’s growing relations with various countries, as well as in the good reputation it has gained thanks to its balanced and flexible policies aimed at strengthening relations and cooperation with brotherly and friendly countries.
