Bahrain is reinforcing its position as a regional events hub with a packed summer calendar of entertainment and cultural activities, Tourism Minister H.E. Fatima bint Jaffar Al Sayegh said during a media tour of the Bahrain International Exhibition and Convention Centre (BIEC). She highlighted the variety of attractions available for families, visitors and residents, reflecting the Kingdom's growing tourism offering.

The minister highlighted the Bahrain Summer Gaming Festival, organised in collaboration with Piaon Al Dana Theatre, as one of the season's key family attractions. She said the festival's continued success stems from its evolving content and its ability to provide engaging experiences for visitors of all ages, alongside other major shows such as The Haunted House and the Fanzone sporting experience.

During the tour with local media representatives, Al Sayegh also visited Youth City 2030, which features a dedicated hall hosting Summer Sports City this year. She praised BIEC's flexible infrastructure and ability to accommodate large-scale events, supporting Bahrain's vision of becoming a year-round destination for tourism, entertainment and business activities.

The minister said the diverse programme of events is contributing to growth across Bahrain's hospitality, retail, dining and transport sectors. She added that such initiatives strengthen the Kingdom's tourism ecosystem and enhance its reputation as a leading regional destination for major events.
