Bahrain's delegation continued its official visit to Thailand by participating in the opening of the International Halal Expo, which aims to strengthen cooperation in the halal economy, food industries, food security, investment and supply chains. The delegation was led by Khalid Ali Al Ameen, Chairman of the Food Committee at the Bahrain Chamber of Commerce and Industry.
The delegation toured the exhibition, reviewed the latest halal products and technologies, and held meetings with officials and international companies to discuss partnerships in food manufacturing, logistics, halal certification and innovation. The visit followed a tour of the Halal Science Center at Chulalongkorn University to learn about Thailand's advanced halal ecosystem.
Al Ameen said closer Bahrain-Thailand cooperation could create new investment opportunities, enhance food security and support the growth of the halal sector. He added that the visit reflects the Bahrain Chamber's commitment to helping Bahraini businesses expand into Asian markets and build stronger international partnerships.
