A partnership between "Bahrainouna" and Al Baraka Islamic Bank to Support the activities of "Youth City 2030"

Al Baraka Islamic Bank, one of the leading Islamic banks in the Kingdom of Bahrain, has announced its collaboration with the Executive Office of the National Plan to Promote the Spirit of Belonging to the Nation and Reinforce the Values of Citizenship, "Bahrainouna", to support the activities of Youth City 2030. The collaboration reflects the Bank's continued commitment to contributing to national initiatives aimed at empowering the youth, enhancing their community participation, and reinforcing the values of belonging and citizenship.

This collaboration reaffirms Al Baraka Islamic Bank's established approach to social responsibility and sustainability, as well as its commitment to supporting national initiatives that generate a positive and lasting impact on society. It is also aligned with the Bank's ESG priorities and its role as an active partner in supporting programmed that develop young people's capabilities and provide them with meaningful educational and interactive experiences.

Through this partnership, Al Baraka Islamic Bank is engaging with the "Bahrainouna" pavilion at Youth City 2030, which aims to deliver an interactive experience that transforms the values and objectives of the National Plan into practical and engaging activities for young people. The experience combines interaction, challenge, discovery and teamwork. The Bank will also support a number of accompanying activities and events, in addition to providing Al Baraka Account prizes to winners during the programme, which runs from July 12 to August 20, 2026.

The partnership includes an interactive pavilion within Youth City 2030, offering an interactive experience that reinforces our national values and principles and achieves the objectives of the National Plan for Enhancing National Belonging and Instilling Citizenship Values through practical and interactive stations experienced by young people, combining interaction, challenge, discovery, and teamwork. It also includes support for a number of accompanying activities and events, in addition to providing Al Baraka Account prizes for winners of the events held during the program period extending from July 12 to August 20, 2026.

Commenting on the occasion, Mr Husain Yusuf Ateyah, Acting Chief Executive Officer of Al Baraka Islamic Bank, said: "At Al Baraka Islamic Bank, we believe that supporting national initiatives that invest in the potential of young people is an essential part of our social responsibility. She added that, through the 'Bahrainouna' pavilion, the Executive Office seeks to provide an interactive experience that translates national values into practical applications and gives young people the opportunity to learn, engage and acquire knowledge through innovative activities that combine enjoyment with meaningful benefits.
