Former Shura Councilor joins international network

Former member of the Shura Council Dr. Ayesha Mubarak has been designated by Eisenhower Foundation (EF) as a member of the foundation's international network, in recognition of her remarkable role in developing young leaders locally and in several countries around the world in various disciplines.
Dr. Mubarak is the first Bahraini woman selected by this network to represent the Kingdom of Bahrain. One of America's leading foundations, which provide excellent fellowship programmes and prepare young leaders around the globe, the Eisenhower Foundation (EF)'s board of trustees is chaired by former secretary of state General Collin Powell.
Dr. Mubarak had won the foundation's fellowship in 2009 and aspires to leave an impressive Bahraini thumbprints during her membership in this prestigious foundation.
