‘No’ to flinch, ‘yes’ to action

Prime Minister HRH Prince Khalifa bin Salman Al Khalifa said that the government would not flinch or relent in confronting groups, which aim to drag the nation into chaos. He also made it clear that the long arm of the law would reach all those involved in the terror acts, including the perpetrators and supporters.
In a meeting with the Interior Minister, Lieutenant-General Shaikh Rashid bin Abdulla Al Khalifa, at the Gudaibiya Palace here yesterday, HRH Premier said that the government would continue supporting the security personnel through providing them with all necessary equipment and capabilities to facilitate their work and enable them to assume their national role in maintaining security.
The Prime Minister also lauded the diligence and dedication of policemen and all the Ministry’s affiliates to safeguard the homeland’s security and stability.
On the occasion, the Interior Minister extended appreciation to HRH the Premier for his immaculate support to the security personnel and all the Interior Ministry’s affiliates. “The Premier’s recent visit to them boosted their morale and motivated them to confront whoever dares to undermine the Kingdom’s sovereignty or security,” Shaikh Rashid remarked.
During the meeting, Prince Khalifa was informed about a detailed report by the Interior Minister on the latest security developments, as well as the preparations of the security bodies to foil any plans to subvert the Kingdom’s security and stability.
HRH the Prime Minister lauded the stances of the Bahraini citizens and their pride in the dedication of the security personnel in assuming their national duties. “Such patriotic stances are the first supporter of any government’s success, particularly regarding the heroic role played by policemen in maintaining security of the Bahraini society,” he added.
