Driver surrenders in mishap case

The Director-General of the Northern Governorate Police has announced that the operations room received a report on Tuesday about a traffic accident in which a car hit a motorcycle in Demistan.
An investigation indicated criminal suspicion and the authorities concerned rushed to the scene. The injured Bahraini motorcyclist Sayed Musa Sayed Sharaf was taken to hospital, where he died later. Immediately after the accident, the car driver fled from the scene. Later he surrendered in a police station.
The Director-General said that legal action was taken and the case had been referred to the Public Prosecutor.
