AMAIUB celebrates 13th graduation ceremony

Manama Graduates from six undergraduate and graduate programmes received their degrees at the 13th graduation ceremony of AMA International University – Bahrain (AMAIUB). 

The event, under the patronage of His Royal Highness, Prince Khalifa bin Salman Al Khalifa, the Prime Minister, was held yesterday  at Al Dana Ballroom, Gulf International Convention Center, Manama. 

With the theme “AMAIUB: Celebrating its Legacy of Transforming Lives and Societies”, the University recognized the graduates from its graduate and undergraduate programmes namely: Master of Business Administration (MBA), Bachelor of Science in Business Informatics (BSBI), Bachelor of Science in International Business (BSIB), Bachelor of Science in Informatics Engineering (BSIE), Bachelor of Science in Mechatronics Engineering (BSME), and Bachelor of Science in Computer Science (BSCS).

HRH the Premier was represented at the ceremony by his Advisor, His Highness, Shaikh Salman bin Khalifa Al Khalifa. Shaikh Salman conveyed the congratulations of His Royal Highness to the graduates and their families, wishing them continuous success.

“HRH Prime Minister places the development of education at the core of the Government Action Programme to boost the nation’s revival, progress and prosperity,” Shaikh Salman told the graduates. 

Dr Amable R. Aguiluz V, Chairman of the Board of Trustees of AMAIUB, Chairman Emeritus of AMA Education System, and Philippine President’s Special Envoy to the GCC, conferred the graduates with their degrees. 

In his message, Ambassador, Dr Aguiluz urged the graduates to utilize the knowledge earned, skills and expertise they have learned and honed “to serve Bahrain to their fullest capacity”. 

Dr Aguiluz also highlighted a few of the University’s recent achievements and developments. He said: “All these paved the way for the University to attain global recognition and connect to the world through its remarkable contribution--- an exemplary higher education.”
