Bahrain Chocolate and Coffee expo from December 7

Manama : Sixty local and international exhibitors will participate in the Bahrain Chocolate and Coffee Exhibition, which will be held under the patronage of the CEO of the Bahrain Tourism and Exhibition Authority (BTI) Shaikh Khalid bin Hamoud Al Khalifa from December 7-9 at Bahrain International Exhibition and Convention Center, Badayat, its organizers said yesterday.

Yasmin Jamal, CEO of Bedayat said that the participants in the exhibition are mainly from Bahrain, the United Arab Emirates, Saudi Arabia, Egypt, Jordan, Turkey, Azerbaijan, Britain, France and the United States. 

The overwhelming success of the First Edition in last December engaged more than 15,000 visitors and 51 participants, therefore, this Year’s Edition looks forward to double this number to at least 30,000 visitors and 100 exhibitors”, said Yasmeen Jamal, CEO of Bidayaat.

She explained that the companies that confirmed its presence so far are from the Arab Gulf, Europe, the United States and Russia. They know well that this exhibition will be the ideal gateway to enter the Bahrain and the Greater Arabian Gulf markets.

Yasmeen stated that the Chocolate Expo gathers under one roof. Exhibitors, chocolatiers, entrepreneurs, and all interested individuals will benefit from the expo with new investment opportunities in the chocolate and coffee Field. This exhibition will open eyes to the best chocolate’s products, services and equipment of the regional and international manufacturers and suppliers. Furthermore, chocolate makers and interested Investors will gain an ideal platform to strengthen their productive partnerships and business relationships and explore new horizons in chocolate Industry and trade.

Last year, the visitors had also gotten an exclusive opportunity to share the moments of making the biggest landscape of Bahrain’s sea front made out of small chocolate pieces, and a fun experience of tasting varieties of rich chocolate flavours. At the same time, they had supported the Bahraini tourism sector which witnessed a threefold growth over the past decade.

Minister of Industry, Commerce and Tourism Zayed bin Rashid AlZayani attended the first edition of Chocolate and Coffee Exhibition and paid a tribute to the dedicated efforts. In addition, the Expo was visited by VIPs, delegations, officials, businessmen and businesswomen.
