Dar Kulaib crush Bani Jamra

Manama : Dar Kulaib Youth Centre crushed Bani Jamra Youth Centre 9-2 in the second round of preliminary matches of Group 3 in the latest matches of the Fifth Khalid bin Hamad Futsal League for Youth Centres, People with Disabilities and Girls (Khalid 5) at the Khalifa Sports City in Isa Town.

The result got Dar Kulaib’s campaign on the way after a poor opening match start thanks to the efforts of Hussain Mohammed who was adjudged as man of the match.

In another match of Group 3, Ras Rumman ran out 6-2 winners against Zayed Town thanks to a hat trick by man of the match Qassim Hassan and supported by teammate Fadhil Adel with two goals.

Group 4 action saw Al Wusta win Sadad 8-3 with Mustafa Sakran of the victors man of the match, while in another match in the same group, Karranah edged out Jurdab 2-1 with its goalkeeper Jaafar Al Basri man of the match.

The tournament is being played under the patronage of HH Shaikh Khalid bin Hamad Al Khalifa, First Deputy President of the Supreme Council for Youth and Sports and Honorary President of Bahrain Sports Federation for Disabilities and organised by the Ministry of Youth and Sports Affairs and the Media Office of Shaikh Khalid bin Hamad Al Khalifa, under the slogan #Generations_Meeting.

The league which started on July 24 and continues until September 14, features 59 teams, divided into 36 youth centres teams, 9 unregistered clubs, 8 teams of people with disabilities institutions and 6 girls teams.

Today’s schedule: Group 6 (5pm): Al Daih vs Sanabis. Group 6 (6pm): North Sehla vs Muqaba. Group 7 (7pm): Al Jasrah vs Zallaq. Group 7 (8pm): Saar vs Arad.
