HM King Holds Talks With President El-Sisi

Egypt reiterates support for Bahrain's security and sovereignty

His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa held official talks with Egyptian President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi in Cairo, with both leaders reaffirming the strength of Bahrain-Egypt relations and pledging to expand strategic cooperation across various sectors.

President El-Sisi welcomed His Majesty and the accompanying delegation, describing the visit as a reflection of the deep-rooted and distinguished ties between the two brotherly nations.

At the start of the meeting, His Majesty expressed appreciation for the warm reception and generous hospitality extended by President El-Sisi. He also commended the Egyptian President's role in strengthening bilateral relations and wished Egypt and its people continued progress, security, prosperity, and development.

His Majesty King Hamad also thanked President El-Sisi for Egypt's support and solidarity with Bahrain following the measures the Kingdom took to safeguard its sovereignty, security, stability, and the safety of its citizens.

At the same time, His Majesty reaffirmed Bahrain's condemnation of the attack on Egypt's Port of Damietta and expressed the Kingdom's full solidarity with Egypt, supporting all measures taken to protect its sovereignty, security, and vital infrastructure.

President El-Sisi, in turn, expressed appreciation for Bahrain's steadfast support under the leadership of His Majesty King Hamad. He reiterated Egypt's condemnation of the Iranian attacks targeting Bahrain and voiced support for the Kingdom's efforts to protect its security, stability, and sovereignty.

Both leaders underscored their commitment to continuing joint efforts to strengthen bilateral relations and broaden cooperation in ways that promote sustainable growth and prosperity for both nations.
