Indian Club beat ABM Climax
Manama : Indian Club defeated ABM Climax by 24 runs in the Group B final of the Habib Bank Limited sponsored CBA 20 overs Premier League at the Hunainiya Valley in Riffa.
Batting first, Indian Club scored 170 for five in its 20 overs with the main scorers being opener Ajay Kumar (65 off 45 deliveries, 6x4, 1x6) along with Dharmesh Kumar (35 off 27, 6x4), Irfan Shaikh (27 off 14) and Nirmal Parik (14 off 10) with Abdul Rab (one for 14) in four overs the best of the bowlers. In reply, ABM Climax were dismissed for 146 in 20 overs with the main scorer being Adnan Bhatti (52 not out off 37, 4x4, 2x6) while the best of the bowlers were off spinner Vijay Sailor (three for 16) in four overs, medium pacer Sai Kumar (three for 29) in three overs and spinner Irfan Shaikh (two for eight) in two overs.
