Inter Hotel Cricket: K hotel register win

Manama : The K Hotel defeated Crowne Plaza by 11 runs in the latest matches of The Ritz Carlton Bahrain Sixth Inter Hotel Charity Cricket Tournament 2017 at the Ritz-Carlton Staff Recreation area.

Batting first, K Hotel were bowled out for 59 in six overs with (Nitai 17 off 12 deliveries, 2x6, Omar two for eight) and then Crowne Plaza in reply were bowled out for 48 in 4.3 overs with Omar (26 off 7, 4x6) top scoring and Shari (two for one) the best of the bowlers.

Further matches on Sunday featuring Best Western/Downtown Rotana, Intercontinental Regency (A)/The Ritz Carlton (A), Sheraton/Gulf Hotel were declared no result due to the inclement weather and each team awarded a point each.

24 teams are in the fray playing round-robin group matches followed by the knockout stage with the final set for 28 March.

4) Marriott Executive Apartment 45/4 in 5.2 overs (Kalai 24 off 9, 1x6, 3x4, Kalii 1/1 bt International Hotel Establishment 44/6 in 5.3 overs (Samson 25 off 6, 2x6, 3x4, Mohammed 1-4) defeated by 2 wickets.
